What The Scanner Checks And Sends

A PC check should be clear for both sides. This page lists what Wibe Scanner looks at and what leaves the computer.

When it runs

Only when the player starts it with a valid PIN. It asks for administrator rights (Windows needs them to read execution records), installs nothing, adds no startup entry and stops when the scan is finished.

What it looks at

File names and binary content in user folders, C:\ and ProgramData; FiveM mod files; Windows execution records (BAM/DAM, UserAssist, Prefetch, Amcache); the USN Journal and Recycle Bin; USB devices; browser history and Discord storage for cheat sites; scheduled tasks, crash reports, the hosts file and system services. Browser history, Discord storage and PowerShell history are only searched for cheat words: their content, messages and tokens are never copied or sent.

What is sent to the panel

After the scan, one report is uploaded to the panel of the server that created the PIN:

  • Findings: the type, file path and reason for each threat or info item.
  • System profile: Windows user and computer name, OS, HWID (the Windows machine ID), CPU, GPU, RAM, disks, public IP address (looked up through api.ipify.org), Windows install date and storage devices.
  • Screenshot: one image of all monitors taken when the scan ends. It can show open windows, so close private ones before scanning.
  • Scan details: the PIN, scan duration and number of findings.

What is not sent

The content of your documents, photos or other personal files, passwords, and message content. Files are read on your PC only to look for cheat signatures.

Who sees the results

The staff of the server that gave you the PIN. They decide what happens with the report on their server.
